Apparently having a magicka build means you lose your stamina bar and cannot use CC break or roll. You cant use the stamina builds can still use magicka to improve then ignore that magicka builds still get to use their stam as well. Not to mention, stamina builds do not have armor passive that reduce cost by 28% that magicka does.Finally, there is this lovely VR1 and VR12 set that can be 2 rings and a neck that gives wicked magicka regen and wait, a set bonus that restores 33% of your max magicka once a minute. There is no stamina counter part for ESO Gold that. So the entire, out of magicka argument seems moot to me. There are ways of preventing that from happening that are not available to stamina builds.Of course not, they released the game with out either of them in game. Dark brotherhood I could see because lore wise they have only been around for 20 to 30 years. But Mage, Thief and Warrior are the icons of any TES game. Thief guild should have been around from day one.More crafted sets promoting stamina playstyle. SO far it seems most dropped sets are tanking ones (or werewolf) and most crafted ones are caster ones. Stamina DPS COULD use Hunding's Rage, BUT it's currently bugged and provides just about 6% bonus stamina ability dmg, instead of 19%. We need more, and fix for Hunding...Most of the problems with stamina/weapon specs come from being HORRIBLY OPEN to attacks for TERRIBLY LONG. Your average caster can cast almost any spell WHILE still holding block. Physical Weapon user generally wants to use his weapon more often (since he has no magicka for casting spells repeatedly), but swinging weapon isn't allowed while blocking, and heavy attacks leave you open for damn long time. Solution would be to allow players to PARRY (e.g. 60% chance to nullify incoming damage and CC(bash and so on) while weapon swing animation is shown (aka while your weapon moves, you have a pretty large chance of not taking damage))Stamina scaling is kinda off. Having 1.9 modifier for weapon damage means that only ~52% weapon damage is taken into consideration. That just means for every 1 more weapon damage, you get just about 0.48 of it. Also, weapon's heavy damage seems way too low to justify effort. Heck, when I swing my GIANT SWORD like Elder Scrolls Online Gold that, I expect some damage, not less than 10% HP in a 3s long swing.. that's just pathetic, as any caster can just obliterate his foe in that time from 100% to 0. Within 3 seconds (till about lvl 50, in VR it takes about 5-8 seconds per pack.. with a stamina weapon, it would take about 20+ seconds per pack). I've counted. Both on my DK and on my Sorc.
