I doubt it. The Thalmor are clearly set up as the enemy in Skyrim and we could never side with the enemy in Elder Scrolls games. In most other games too, in fact. Besides, in the long run Thalmor success means the end of Tamriel as we know it - as exciting as the possibility is, it would be a definitive end of this story. Do we really want this?Like a lot here Morrowind was my favourite but I think that's because it was a game of its time. It was so different to anything else and the freedom to do what you like was awesome but its common place nowadays. I think for ESO Power leveling someone who never played it you might be better off with Skyrim because you might be disappointed in Morrowind.But even if we were given that option, it's not an immediate end to the Tamriel story, destroying the towers is just one step, they would still be chances to undo the damage even if the Towers are destroyed. The lore based decision for the game would be that the hero saves the towers, and maybe even reinstates Talos as a member of the Nine officially.You know I tried those 'shrooms and it just wasn't the same.. I have never been transported to another world so completely and in such a way that I didn't want to leave as when I visited the ancient realm of Resdayn... aka Morrowind! Nothing compares.. It's truly out of this world!I've played the last three, Morrowind to Skyrim, and, while Morrowind is my favorite I have to say Skyrim is the best TES beginner game for a newbie coming in from ESO. It's beautiful and wide open, much more so than ESO. The learning curve is gentle yet leaves much room for improvement. I played hundreds of ESO Gold with many characters but is wasn't until 2 years in that I finally built a pair of characters, a mage and an archer, who I was confident enough to take anywhere and do anything on Master difficulty. And this was all in plain vanilla Skyrim on an Xbox 360 on a big screen TV in a dark room. A voice of negativity, go with SKYRIM only, at least for now. Many players have extracted 100+ hours from the vanilla Skyrim, throw in some mods and who knows how long you'll be playing. With that much content in a single game when do you expect you'll have time to play any of the others? Don't forget that the other TES games also offer many, many hours of gameplay in their own right. And of course they'll be there on Steam should you ever find the time to pursue them.
